Busy day: taking a lone soldier back to base, picking up some new synagogue furniture for the ancient synagogue in Hevron, seeing another lone soldier in the Old City and guests still working to strengthen the Jewish Presence in Jerusalem! Still not done yet!

Trip and tour with Jerusalem Heritage House guests to Hevron and Judea today!

tour Judea

Outside of the Jewish Community of Karmei Tzur, overlooking the site where the three kidnapped boys were buried by the arab terrorists that killed them. Site still remains undeveloped, hopefully that will change soon! The Jewish books we donated, after the arabs burned all of the books that were there, are still in use!

Happy Hanukkah!

Happy Hanukkah from the Jerusalem Heritage House in the liberated Old City of Jerusalem. This Hanukkah has been quite a special one, mostly because of all the attacks at the UN and in DC against us even being here.

Not surprisingly, we have responded in Maccabean style:

Chanukiah is ready for the second night in the Ancient Synagogue in Hevron!

A Young boy’s first time putting on tefillin!

Posted by , With 0 Comments,

Today we participated in a prayer service for a young boy's first time putting on tefillin. Unfortunately, his father couldn't be there because he was brutally murdered in a stabbing attack exactly one year ago.The prayer service was held in the Western Wall Tunnels directly facing the area where the "Holy of Holies" was in the Temple. The festive dancing was held in the plaza of the Western Wall. These are the kind of results that come from irresponsible speeches and misguided UN actions and these are our responses. This young man and his family will faithfully continue their Father's legacy. It was an honor for some of our "lone soldiers" and me to participate in this simcha, especially with everything going on. #notbackingdownevenalittlebit
