In the final hours of the year, the Jerusalem Heritage House decided to embark upon an educational and inspirational visit to the Tomb and Neighborhood of Shimon HaTzadik, who used to say: "The whole world stands on three things: Torah study, Service of G-d and Kind deeds" - we did them all today! Great end of the year, looking forward to the new one!

TORAH: Learning the famous Mishnah of Pirkei Avos. Rabbi Ben Packer, Director of the Jerusalem Heritage House teaches some Pirkei Avos by the tomb of Shimon Hazadik a sage that's quoted in the texts. Guests from the Jerusalem Heritage House Listen attentively.

KIND DEEDS: Jerusalem Heritage House gave out 10 copies of a book on Rosh Hashanah by Rav Avigdor Nebenzahl, shlita, Rabbi of the Old City of Jerusalem with his personal New Years blessing inscribed. The books were made possible by our good friend, Yitzchak Bukingolts' efforts. Guests of the Heritage House and Rabbi Ben Packer Director of the Heritage House give out books in the Neighborhood of Shimon Hazadik, while spending Rosh Hashana with free accommodations in the Old City of Jerusalem. with Zach Epstein, Zachariah Kerner, Eric Sholomon, Nesim Pasarel, Ben Packer and Meir Morozov.
